Philosophy
Beginning therapy can feel daunting—you may believe you should handle challenges on your own or feel uncertain about how to take the first step. I strive to create a judgment-free space where you can start at your own pace. My work is rooted in cultural sensitivity, LGBTQ+ affirmation, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story. I believe that acknowledging and processing trauma can unlock growth, healing, and a deeper connection to personal strengths.

I approach therapy as a collaborative process built on direct communication—and yes, sometimes laughter—because therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. Drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Written Exposure Therapy for PTSD, I aim to support emotional, physical, and mental well-being while providing practical tools you can use in daily life.

Experience
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology—Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University and completed a 60-hour Rape Crisis Counselor Certification at Resilience, a rape crisis center. My experience includes supporting adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in a university counseling center, community outpatient clinic, rape crisis center, and group practice settings.
